Are you burying your benefit statements? Get the video and complete text at http://bit.ly/QqzYCi
Today we're going to talk yet again about benefit statements. If you check out my SEO Copywriting YouTube channel, you will see a lot of discussion on benefit statements already.
However, today I'm taking a slight departure from how to write them, to how to use them after you've written them.
In many websites I see writers bury the benefit statements at the bottom of the page -- perhaps with the intention of wrapping up the message with something exciting, to really close the deal.
But that's not how people work. Website visitors skim content, so benefit statements need to be used liberally throughout all of the copy, to grab and hold interest long before visitors reach the end of the message.
Here are a few ways you can use benefit statements to ramp up the pulling power of your SEO copy:
* Include benefit statements in your headlines and subheads
* Turn your guarantee into a benefit statement then tell the world about it!
* Review your testimonials and case studies for golden benefit statement nuggets and feature the best ones on the page (they provide great social proof!)
These ideas are really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the many different ways benefit statements can make your message POP, and I share a number of others inside the video.
If you have any questions about using benefit statements, or anything else for that matter, just let me know.
