Twitter? Naw... only 140. Private Facebook groups? Nice, but how 'private' are they? LinkedIn? Who really hangs out there during the day? They ain't got nuttin' on us!
Hey gang, it seems that it's been another year of mahem here at the SEO Dojo. Next week we'll be celebrating our 3rd birthday. It's been a great ride and we've had a blast connecting search geeks far and wide.
As we sat here thinking about what to do for the occasion, the thought occurred that we might share what is one of the more popular areas of our community.
The Chat Room
For the last 3 years we've had a group of SEO and marketing geeks that hang out in a private chat room on Skype. We're in there 24/7 with hardly a quiet moment as there are peeps from around the world and every time zone, yakking it up.
And just to keep things interesting, we also have a weekly topical chat on Friday's that are a bit more formalized in nature (2hr session). Some recent ones include;
- Site reviews (we pick apart member and other sites)
- Penalties and lost traffic (discussing the fine art of analysis)
- SEO; what to track? (looking at tracking and reporting)
But that's just Friday's. There is no shortage of ongoing debate and group problem solving to be had during the week.
Come hang out!
Normally reserved for our members, we've decided to open up the chat room for all. But only for 1 week. It's a great chance for non-members to come by and see what all the fuss is about. And yes, sadly...it's only for a week. But have no fear, we'll give participants a discount code if they'd like to sign up for the SEO Dojo and stay on.
