I was sitting here working on the Dojo Radio editing and started to realize that I've been blessed over the last while. When this place started I thought it would entail many hours in the trenches passing along the art. Trust me. No one likes to teach the basic stances and footwork day after day. It dulls the enthusiasm.
The great part is that it didn't work out that way. On the main blog is the concept of being a teacher AND a student at all times. This puts the ego at rest and encourages engagement in some shape or form from the clan. At least that's the hope.
As I sorted Radio Guests (9 weeks in), the mind also drifted off on to our 45+ weeks of chat sessions (I ran out of things to talk about after 20+ weeks). Wow! What a list of guest speakers we've amassed? The sheer volume of smart minds that have come along to share their knowledge, freaks me out.
The fun part if picking their brains and getting to know them (we teach Zombie Style kung fu). So I collected them for posterity;

And that doesn't include the day to day conversations on forums, chat or social with the clan. It get's scary to say the least. Rarely a day goes by that I don't learn something new, pick up a tidbit, have a laugh. It is a humbling experience for a guy that lives in a cave and doesn't really get out to conferences etc.. Fortunately everyone is kind enough to come see me.
Thanks one and all for the last 11 months! One heck of an experience.
