2012; welcome to the new year
Hello my friends and welcome to another year in the wild and often wacky world of search. I wanted to take a few moments to give a huge thanks to you for still keeping up on the world of search with me and of course to those that have helped or sponsored the newsletter over the last few years, (huge shout-out to Raven SEO Tools).
It was certainly and eventful and fast evolving year in the world of search in 2012 and I really do look forward to what's in store. For me? I have a few areas that I'll be watching including;
- Named entities
- Personalization (behavioural)
- Social
- Geo-local
Just to name a few. If you're feeling geeky, then you can look up some of those topics in recent patent (2012) round-ups on SNC last week;
It was a bit slower than usual last week, as one might expect. But still, plenty of great reading to be had.. enjoy and all the best to you and yours for 2012!
